Her career started at a young age with one of the most established bridal companies in the industry, Priscilla of Boston. Quickly establishing a large clientele, she was promoted to many different roles within the company and gained a vast knowledge of all aspects of the business.

As Priscilla of Boston acquired several smaller designers, Lacy was able to work directly with bespoke bridal lines sparking a love for the curating process to offer customers a truly unique experience.

Upon moving, she continued her career with one of the largest boutiques in Texas and became their lead stylist and buyer.

This experience allowed her to work with several celebrity clients such as jewelry designer, Kendra Scott, former Olympian and Real Housewife of Atlanta, Sanya Richards-Ross as well as being featured on E! Network’s, Total Divas styling Brie Bella.

Brie was also one of her first clients to wear custom accessories that Lacy and the store owner solely designed to fit the specific needs of their clientele.

Her notoriety within the industry led to numerous publications such as Refinery 29, Glamour and Brides Magazine.

Lacy has a keen eye for upcoming indy designers and throughout her career as a buyer, she established exclusivities with lines not yet released to the market that are now globally recognized bridal houses.

As she continued to make a name for herself and frequented the NY Bridal Market, she was approached by designers to coordinate runway shows and other collaborative campaigns to build brand awareness.

Her understanding of what brides are seeking within a gown shopping experience led her and her business partner to an app development idea that was purchased by the WayFounder Group.

As the industry has evolved and online bridal has become more prevalent, she co-founded Wedding Years.
